One of the long-term aims of our work on the flocculation of mud is to provide data that can be used to calibrate sediment transport models that account for flocculation. Towards this end, we have initiated a GitHub organization called the Mud Flocculation Database. We see this as the start of a community database for sharing experimental and field data specific to the flocculation of mud. For the time being, the database will be organized by journal publication and data type (time series or equilibrium size data). The database is in its infancy and it will surely be modified and added to with time. Yet we are excited to at least start to make our data more available to others.
